Executive Summary

A central destination for a growing entertainment brand

Mike Epps had a growing audience across comedy, film, television, YouTube and social media—but his digital identity was fragmented. Through CAA and my contact Rick Sorkin, Robertson Studio was engaged to create one approved destination that could fortify the brand and organize the fan journey.

Working with Mike’s management team and branding approved directly by Mike, I developed MikeEpps.com as a responsive entertainment portal. Social links and SEO-relevant blog content generated pathways into the site. Once there, fans could find live dates, purchase tickets, watch videos, follow social activity, explore projects and stay connected to Mike’s journey.

The website gave a growing audience one owned place to connect with Mike—not simply consume another isolated piece of content.

Traffic & Fan Connection

Turn social visibility and searchable content into owned audience relationships

Mike’s social channels created direct links back to MikeEpps.com, while blog content gave search engines relevant material tied to his appearances, projects and activity. Together, those pathways helped audiences discover the site through both active social engagement and organic search behavior.

The value continued after the click. Fans arrived at an official destination where they could follow Mike’s work, watch content, discover upcoming shows, purchase tickets and feel closer to the ongoing journey of an entertainer they supported.

Commercial Principle

Audience growth becomes more valuable when fans have an owned place to continue the relationship

Social media can create visibility. Search content can create discovery. Live appearances can create revenue. The owned portal connects those moments into one continuing relationship between the brand and its audience.

The commercial role of the portal was simple: help more people find Mike, connect with Mike and take the next step in his journey.
